Chaka Khan Homecoming

A Celebration of the Grammy Award-Winner’s Illustrious 40-Year Career

Ten-time Grammy® Award-winner Chaka Khan has the rare ability to sing in seven music genres, including R&B, pop, rock, gospel, country, world music and classical. Now, she brings her unmistakable stylings to her hometown of Chicago in this new special. Filmed at the remarkable Harris Theatre in front of a raucous audience, Chaka and her 12-piece band deliver wonderful renditions of her funk classics such as “Tell Me Something Good,” written by Stevie Wonder, and “I Feel For You,” written and first performed by Prince, among many others.

Also included in her set are jazz standards such as “My Funny Valentine,” and contemporary hits “Until You Come Back to Me” and “I’m Every Woman.” CHAKA KHAN HOMECOMING is a celebration of her illustrious career spanning 40 years with sales of more than 70 million records.
