Pre-K through Elementary
Your student will find out what kindness by listening to a books on the subject. They will then practice comprehension skills and writing. Plus, a bonus part of this episode comes from Katie Cutsforth (Jacksonville Elementary) teaching about social distancing using goldfish. This lesson is taught by Kristen Robinson, Kennedy Elementary.

DESCRIPTION: In this episode, students will learn how to use drawing as a form of mindfulness. Mrs. Boyles will teach the fun and creative practice of Zentangle. Draw along with her by grabbing a black marker and a piece of paper. Then she will lead students in a meditation to help students focus on their breath.

DESCRIPTION: Is your student having big emotions? Are YOU having big emotions? This episode is all about equipping your student (and you) with exercises to tap into mindfulness. Miss Britt and Teacher Connor are expecting a package, but they don’t feel the same about it. In this cognitive learning experience, children will work on developing social emotional literacy skills through reading, music and movement.

Learn about talking about how they feel and identifying those feelings. Students will also make a craft that helps them communicate when they don’t have the words. This episode includes music, reading and activities. Students will learn how to contribute to their family and they’ll make a family coat of arms.

Miss Britt and Teacher Connor turn into detectives (and suspects!) as they try to determine who took the dragon stuff. Help them find the culprit as they learn about clues and detectives.
