Welder (Grants Pass High School)
Season 11, Episode 1
Daniel Hagerty moved to Grants Pass from New Mexico when he was a freshman. He took metal shop and quickly fell in love with the art of welding, so much so that after his father moved to North Dakota, Daniel chose to stay in Grants Pass his entire senior year.
One of his favorite parts of the work is the problem solving that comes with the projects he’s asked to do. His family has a background in the medical field, but Daniel sees his future in welding and fabrication. Daniel has already begun a lifelong career in an industry where skilled workers are in demand.
