"I have been playing the bass since I was eleven years old, and as long as I can remember, music has played a role in my life. I was brought up on jazz, funk, and soul music as a child, and it has certainly shaped the way I approach music to this day. This past winter I auditioned for two music programs, Berklee College of Music and the University of Oregon Jazz Studies Degree Program, and I was admitted to both. I am extremely proud of the success I have achieved thus far, but I know that I have a long road ahead of me regarding my musical career. I simply cannot wait for what’s in store."
