Class of 2014-15: Hannah Sarganis

STUDENT SHOWCASE: Hannah Sarganis
Musician
Hidden Valley High School

Hannah J. Sarganis started piano lessons when she was seven years old and began writing songs soon after. She picked up other instruments and taught herself to play them when she was only nine. Currently, Hannah plays the drums, piano, guitar, ukulele, and sings. She produced and wrote an eleven-song album at the age of fifteen in a small home studio after raising enough money to buy the equipment by working gardening jobs. She is currently working with a producer (who is the drummer in a popular 80s band, Firefall) on her second album. Hannah was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of nine. It’s difficult at times–like any struggle–but she doesn’t let it slow her down and believe it’s helped her become strong and persistent with many things in her life. It doesn’t slow her down from being a 1st base starter for Hidden Valley High School’s softball team. After high school Hannah intends to continue her musical career and complete her second album.
