Virtual Wine Tasting with Rick Steves

A professional sommelier will guide you and Rick through a curated tasting of six European wines shipped right to your door. Practice the five S’s of wine tasting — See, Swirl, Sniff, Sip, and Savor — and develop your palate, while getting to know Rick.

This virtual adventure with Rick Steves is filled with discovery, a bit of indulgence, and laughter. You're sure to learn something new about the wonderful world of wine — and perhaps about Rick too!

• 6 mini bottles of wine (enough for two to taste) that will be shipped directly to your door which include the following varietals:

1. Portugal Tempranillo 2024
2. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC 2024
3. Côtes du Roussillon Villages Red Blend 2023
4. French Cabernet Sauvignon
5. Rose from France
6. Sauvignon Blanc/Picpoul Blanc called Bordeaux Blend

Please note:

• Kits cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box or Canada and the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Rhode Island and Utah.
• Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate in alcohol-related events.
• Ticket sales end February 2, 2026 at 2pm PT, to allow for time to ship the wine tasting kits.
• Share this experience! You can add an additional kit (for an additional cost) and ship it to a separate address! Just purchase an additional kit and enter the shipping address for that person.
• Don’t delay! Tickets are limited and registration will only be open until February 2, 2026 at 2pm PT to allow for timely shipment of wine tasting kits.

Shipping Details:

• Make sure that your address is submitted correctly (no typos!) Failure to type your address correctly will result in a shipping delay, or even the possibility that your ticket will not be fulfilled.
• Ticket holders will receive their wine tasting kits in the days before the event on February 26, 2026.
• Kits cannot be shipped to: Canada, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Rhode Island and Utah.
• Kits cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
• Ticketholders need to be home to show identification and sign upon delivery to prove they are 21+ years of age. Wine will not be delivered without this.
• Please open your kit when it arrives to ensure you are ready to sip along on February 26, 2026! If you have any questions regarding your kit, please let SOPBS know at (541) 779-0808.
• This virtual event will take place via Zoom Webinar. Zoom is free to the public, but requires a computer download. You can download Zoom here. Your kit will arrive in the days before the event.
