Estate Planning Workshops — Free & Open to the Community

Filer image

Southern Oregon PBS informs, educates, and connects this region, on screen and off. This spring, we're bringing that mission to something that matters close to home: your future planning.

Join us for a free, 90-minute Estate Planning Workshop led by local attorneys. No sales pitches, no fundraising, just practical, plain-English guidance to help you protect yourself, your family, and what you've built.

What You'll Learn

  • Wills vs. trusts — the difference and what you may actually need;
  • Powers of attorney and healthcare directives — how to set them up and why they matter;
  • Beneficiary designations — how they work and the costly mistakes to avoid;
  • Oregon-specific tools, including the POLST form;
  • How to get organized and take your next step.
